  Categories :

  > Check which category(ies) you plan on competing in. Each registrant must complete a registration form and pay a registration fee. $25.00 entry fee per person, per category


    1. Functional Sculpture - Competitors will have 6 hours each (including cold working)
to produce a functional sculptural item. No prep work allowed.

    2. Wearable - Competitors will each have 4 hours (including cold working) to produce a wearable lampworked item.                           No prep work is allowed.

    3. Mystery Box - Competitors will have 4 hours each to create a mystery themed item to be revealed at the start of the contest. This competition is designed to challenge!

     Mommy & Me - CANCELLED Due to the location of the event being Las Vegas this year we are not hosting this category. Sorry!

 

 

 

     Cold-Working and other tools may be available based on first come first serve basis.

     Payment:

There is a $25.00 registration fee per person, per category entered. The fee has to be paid Friday March 23rd at Noon at the Check-in of the event.

Travel Accommodations:

Las Vegas  offers 100s of hotels, hostels, motels, etc with a wide price range to meet all budgets and needs.

Las Vegas has an international airport.

RULES and REGULATIONS:

 

1. No prep work is allowed.

2. You provide your own torch and tools. All items must be labeled with your name.

3. All torches must have at least 6 ft of line attached. Quick Connect are not required this year. If possible bring your own regulators. (not required but if labeled!)

4. Participants in the Functional Sculpture Category are allowed a 30 minute break, that may be broken up anyway you like. We will add half an hour to this category to compensate for the break.

5. Participants in the Mystery Box Category and Wearable Category will get a 15 minute break, if needed. The break will be added to the category time slot.

6. Glass will be available from all sponsors. But please bring what you need for your pieces.

7. Age 18+ only. No exceptions.
